HeroSMS is a service for renting virtual numbers. When creating an account in HeroSMS. You provide an email address. The email address you enter becomes your profile name. In addition, when creating an account, a unique user identifier is created; it is necessary to make it easier for technical support specialists to recognize you or contact you. We do not ask for your real name, gender, age or preferences.
HeroSMS is a cloud service. We store on our servers all the information that is associated with the virtual numbers that you rent for a long period, namely, a list of SMS messages that are sent to the number during the entire rental period. You can delete them from our servers along with your account at any time in the Settings > Delete account menu .
If you have registered with HeroSMS, your data is stored in data centers that belong not only to the service but also to third-party organizations, and HeroSMS rents dedicated space in them. At the same time, servers and networks containing data located in such data centers are the property of HeroSMS. We do not transfer your data to data centers. All data is securely encrypted, and neither local HeroSMS technical staff nor intruders (for example, in the event of intrusion into the data center) can gain access to it.
Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, the personal data you provide is stored only as long as we need it to fulfill our obligations to provide the Services.
Starting with version HeroSMS V1.0, users have access to a system for accepting payments App Store commerce system . HeroSMS does not process payments made by users: this function is performed by various payment systems around the world used by App Store commerce system . . These payment systems themselves process and store your bank card data.HeroSMS does not have access to this data. Despite the fact that we use the services of the Google Play Billing Library payment system , it is completely independent of HeroSMS. We recommend that you review the App Store commerce system privacy policies before submitting your information.
When making a purchase, you enter your bank card information in the interface of the payment system that processes the payment. Next, this information goes directly to the payment system server. Your bank card data is never sent to HeroSMS servers, we do not have access to it and we do not store it. If you save your bank card details, they will be located on the servers of the corresponding payment system, and the system, in turn, will provide an HeroSMS token (electronic key), which is used to verify the authenticity of the payment.
HeroSMS does not store bank card data or transaction information, so we cannot consider claims or requests for a refund of funds paid. All payment disputes are the responsibility of the App Store commerce system .
You can delete your account in HeroSMS on the Delete account tab in the application (HeroSMS) or by contacting technical support. When you delete your account, all your messages, purchase history and any other data in the HeroSMS cloud storage will also be deleted. Account deletion must be confirmed through the application. After this, it will be impossible to restore your account.
